Hi, my name is Jena. I’m a self taught artist and photographer from New Jersey. I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember and recently discovered that I also have a passion for painting. This past year I began smearing and scraping acrylic paint into colorful patterns and designs, often juxtaposing flowing organic shapes with sharp lines and angles. Watching the paint roll and glide as I pull it across the canvas is both exciting and soothing simultaneously. Being able to share the resulting pieces of art with others brings me so much joy and fulfillment.
