Guillermo Arismendi is a spanish artist, stablished in Tenerife, Canary Islands. He obtained the Bache-lor Degree in Communication Arts and Advertising, and has worked in Barcelona and Tenerife since 1990
He had been sharing his time as Senior Postproduction Director and Motion Graphic Designer along with the development of his art. He has been painting for more than 30 years, developing his language to express a very personal view. Many influences has contributed to give his work a distinctive signa-ture: Music, dance, oriental calligraphy, sci-fi, and many other elements freely blended in. In the last few years, he started to produce digital paints alongside with his oil works. The possibility to create high resolution artworks in the digital environment, allowed him to assume a more experimental and risky approach. The result is a series of artworks where the joy of improvisation and unexpected color palettes express all the artist’s personality.
