Bio

I live on an island (Muskö) in the south archipelago of Stockholm. When I'm not working as a teacher, I paint. Living close to nature is wonderful and sometimes a little challenging. The proximity to plant and animal life often makes an impression in my painting. The moon and the incredible starry skies also make a big impression, not to mention the sea. I rarely plan the painting in advance, I usually follow my intuition. I have taken several courses in Vedic Art which is a method of painting intuitively. I am now also a teacher in the method and will soon start courses. The paintings are often colorful with both abstract and imaginative motifs in my interpretation. The materials are acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media on paper or canvas. With my art, I want to convey the joy of color, wonder and maybe even magic. I will be happy if the viewer himself can find different layers and meanings in my works.
"To paint is to make a journey in the creative process, a journey that gives flow, relaxation, wonder and magic"
