Didi Dobbs My paintings tell a story from the unconscious - the things that consume my unthinking self. I have no choice but to let myself go. Color and line and form are the means by which I can express the intensity of emotion and tell this story. I ’ m dreaming while wide awake, my senses alert. I usually don ’ t know what the story is until it has a life of it ’ s own and it ’ s guiding me.
