SuryaAtman Artistic Statement: When I created my first Rorschach Ink Blot Psychology test inspired piece, I knew this was something I was going to be doing for the rest of my life. My pieces are done with conscious love, prayer, joy, sadness and anger. Part of my creative process includes a prayer to the Hindu God RAM, or, RAMA. I only use my hands when painting, with each touch I am sending intentional love & gratitude. The colors, the patterns and the way each mind and soul can see something different in my paintings brings constant joy to my heart. BIO: I am a self taught artist. I started painting consistently when I was twenty years old. I did not, however, find my style of painting until I was twenty four years old. I am heavy into psychology, philosophy & spiritual practice. Intentional spiritual and meditation practice for five years, Philosophy & Psychology studies for two years. Rorschach inspired art for four months. I love & enjoy all the colors, patterns and shapes of the world. My art, spiritual & science practices are all connected together. Creating one beautiful piece.
