Bio

I create my paintings with Golden Acrylic Paints on Stretched Cotton Canvas. Each painting consists of custom-made colors uniquely designed for the viewer to enjoy. A part of my Summer Series called, Picnic at the Beach is a painting named Mint Chip. Growing up in West Palm Beach, Florida, I've been fortunate to spend most summers at the beach and get to surround myself with gorgeous trees growing colorful fruits to eat and share. I've also had a fair share of melting ice cream cones in the hot, humid air that I will remember endlessly. So, I wanted to cre-ate those memories and feelings through simple colors and non-complex shapes. I have always strived to be as creative as possible in any art form I could learn for as long as I remember. I am fascinated and drawn to color and how it can calm or engage someone's mind with different shades and saturations. That led me to go to college at Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014, where I studied Photography but took painting more seriously after beginning a general Color Theory class. I've always immersed my Photography and Paintings with colorful imagery as I've found color is a great way to bring stability to an environment. I thrive on bringing comfort and color to a room so, please enjoy one of my paintings from my series, Picnic at the Beach.
