He chooses it, because it has a very chaotic and complex texture and composing, which represents the chaos in which GAIA is born. On this background he puts the sculpture and the mosaic circle arranged with a blue/ red overlay to create the galaxy. Arrangement and editing the separate layer untils they fit in a perfect unit. The circle stands for the sun, the center of our galaxy and the source of every life on our planet and for the cycle of life.
