Mother Universe, the new exhibition hosted by M.A.D.S. Art Gallery, is a space of passage—a place where the feminine manifests as a cosmic, generative, and transformative principle. It is not about motherhood understood as a biological role, but about a primordial archetype: matrix and womb, creative energy, a force that both receives and generates worlds. Here, woman is not a figure to be contemplated; she is horizon, movement, a space that pulses and expands.
The title itself evokes a symbolic cosmology: the feminine as origin and destination, as a body that holds ancient memories while simultaneously projecting future possibilities. The womb is no longer confined to a body; it is universe—dark and fertile space, a field of unexplored potential where stars are born and die, where cycles intertwine and everything transforms. Here, the universe is not a backdrop; it is metaphor and matter, rhythm and breath, a constellation of life.
The exhibition weaves together contemporary art, myth, science, and spirituality, transforming the exhibition space into a field of living energy. Each work becomes a celestial body, a constellation, a creative act that invites the viewer to cross invisible thresholds, to confront what has been and what may still become. Here, the feminine reveals itself as both generative and destructive force, as the rhythm of birth and death, as a perpetual movement of transformation and regeneration.
To enter Mother Universe at M.A.D.S. Art Gallery is to traverse a space suspended between earth and sky, between the corporeal and the cosmic, between history and myth. It means acknowledging the tension between what society has imposed and what each woman chooses to become. It means dwelling within complexity, embracing silence and noise, chaos and harmony. It means inhabiting the threshold where life and desire, memory and future, vulnerability and power converge.
The artists in this exhibition are invited to engage with this primordial archetype, to explore the feminine as a space of creation and transformation, translating its energy into forms, visions, and languages capable of opening new constellations of meaning.
Mother Universe does not offer answers. It offers thresholds, passages, possibilities.
It does not celebrate, confine, or redefine: it accompanies, suggests, expands. In Mother Universe, the feminine finds its most authentic form—not in being defined, but in being eternal, fluid, infinite.
