Born in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany, Martina T’s love of art lies in her childhood. As soon as she could hold a pencil, Martina T. started drawing. Whenever she could paint, draw, cut, glue and collage, she was happy. Her enthusiasm was further inflamed in school. Martina T.’s art teacher encouraged her creative drive and exhibited some artworks in the hospital of her hometown.
About ten years ago, now living in Hamburg, she started taking painting classes and since then has filled the better part of her free time with artistic pursuits. The artist loves to work with colors, fabrics and wool, and also to combine all these elements in a single piece of art. Expressing herself artistically gives Martina extreme pleasure and the inner certainty that working as an artist is a natural part of her life.
The message of her art is: Have courage and do what you enjoy and what your intuition tells you! If it flows out of you, it is right and genuine and can also reach and please others.
