It was only later in my life that I rediscovered painting – expressing myself creatively. In exploring this passion, I attended several training courses at art colleges and developed my own style. Today I am a member of an artist collective and I take part in exhibitions and projects both in my home country Germany and in other European countries.
My works are always spontaneous, unplanned, impulsive and with surprising results. Often, clustered shapes reminiscent of human beings become apparent. I find it extremely exciting when the viewer is uninfluenced and free to interpret in her or his own world of thoughts. In this way, with my paintings, I intend to trigger a mental movement, to stimulate the viewer and let him or her sink into their world of thoughts and travel: movement creates art and art creates movement.
