Yuma Oberraufner, 1997, lives and works in Vienna/AT. After graduating high school and receiving her diploma in photography, she discovered painting as a new form of expression and taught it herself. Since 2020 she attends the „Kunstschule Wien“ and has had her first exhibition in March 2022.
She is working a part time job to form a financially stable base and also to feel free in her artistic process, not feeling rushed by the need of money. She’s excited for what’s coming her way and how her future self will change and improve.
Her art is inspired by light, her emotions, her surroundings and also electronic music. She uses her work to process her impressions, creating works in bright, vivid colors that try to captivate the viewer and draw him into the picture.
In addition to the classic media, she has recently started working digitally, where she has found a new and exciting way to express herself.
