“Our own thoughts can sometimes be poisonous, we can be both ; our own best friend or our own hardest critique. With “Poison”, i wanted to channel a feeling of strength and control, but at the same time the need to let go, let your mind roam free and wander around, just be. It is a feeling i often get in my creative process ; the need of a plan and structure, the craving for precision, in linework for example and the need to reset my mind with an abstract painting every now and then, where i can just go with the flow and nothing has to be precise. While the snake gaze is mesmerizing you and making you for-get your worries, the yellow smiles are representing your mind and feelings just drifting away,. What time is it? I don’t know”
