Born in Inabe City, Mie Prefecture, he pursued photography after graduating from high school, enrolling in the Photography Department at Nagoya Visual Arts Academy, where he completed his studies. After graduation, he moved to Tokyo and worked as a photographer’s assistant, further refining both his technical skills and artistic vision.

Among his recognitions, he was awarded the 50th JPS Young Eye Encouragement Prize, a significant milestone in the early stage of his career.
