Mathilde Victoire Brault is an emerging artist and painter from Montreal. She first attend-ed Dawson College, where she studied Fine Arts, and then obtained a Bachelors degree in Studio Arts. To this day, she continues attending school and learning, while managing a gallery she co-founded in Montreal, Quebec. Brault has been making art ever since she learned how to hold a pencil. With drawing as her first love, erasers and nearly used-up pencils were often found in her pockets. This was the beginning of a newfound passion. Decades later, Brault having gone to study arts, she started by specializing in abstract paintings, often interested in making artworks of various sizes. In the last couple of years, she has added wood panels, mirrors and metal as surfaces she enjoys working with, and incorporating different techniques to her works such as collage. In the recent years, Brault has taken a keen taste in watercolors and inks, often enjoy mixing the two on a single sheet of paper. While there are many subjects that interest her for making artworks, Brault deeply enjoys the wonders and the colors nature has to offer. She loves to share its beau-ty through photography on her social media, using some of these shots to inspire her to create. She always loved colors and loves using them to add life to her works. Over time, Mathilde Victoire Brault has started selling her works and taking commissions, which only encouraged her to continue sharing her art and her photographs of inspiration. A creative and an artist at heart, she has her Etsy shop “Chameleonpalette” she started in end of 2020 where she also loves to share her art for the world to see. Through her social media, she has been religiously sharing her artworks.
