Cristina Melo is a self-taught Brazilian artist who was born in April 1984 in Goiás, Brazil. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she has found in art a way to express her feelings and perceptions about the world. In her artworks, she uses colors and techniques to show her intensity and deep passion and connect with people as well.
Her paintings are based on action painting. She uses the spatula to show her a spontaneous approach giving way to the emotion of the moment. In her previous works, she had researched minorities groups, social discrimination, and self-recognition.
