Description: This work depicts Lord Buddha in a state of peace. His great renunciation is regarded as a great sacrifice. Being distracted from luxury always he saw death and sacrifice where ever he went. He pondered through out his life in search of peace and at the age of 29 Buddhism came into existence. As an artist I have always been mesmerised by Buddha paintings. They given a sense of peace and satisfaction to my soul. For me Lord Buddha is the idol of sacrifice.
