This piece was my first way of connecting back home, back to Africa, back to Libya. I want to show my appreciation for my culture and my people for all the struggles they’ve gone through and are still going through. Dictatorship, Oppression, Occupation and War are experiences the MENA region is far too familiar with, but it wasn't always like this. I want to remember a time of prosperity and heavily tranquility.
