This is the third Painting in my “David and Delilah Series”.
I have always been fascinated by the marriage of the strong heavy lines of Architectural design and the soft curves of the human form. This series is a blend of flesh and stone. It’s a quirky tale of the famed statue of David and a female admiring him from a far. When Da-vid is touched by Delilah he turns from stone to flesh and the two become entwined in an affair to remember.
