I always try to find inspiration for my artworks inside myself. Sometimes it results in ex-pression of happiness and joy. Other times it is seeking for something I miss, or just a way to dispose my grief. I think that the canvas is the place where we leave part of ourselves “freezed” at some particular period of our life, and later it becomes a reminder of that time. In every piece we should leave some trace from our soul. If the artwork is honest and it comes from our heart it will always be recognized.

My primary vocation of architect emphasizes the focus on form and composition of the painting. The representing elements need to be in a clear and balanced relation. By set-ting the main topic at the core of the canvas, I give it the opportunity to be exposed like actor on the spotlight of the stage. In other words, that artwork should lighten every space in which it resides. I carefully choose colors depending on the subject. Sometimes I like to exclude the color and keep black and white atmosphere in order to eliminate all addition-al decoration that could distract the main focus of the artwork. Sometimes the focus is a shape or it is simply an emotion that needs to pop out.

The technique I choose and feel most comfortable to work with is acrylic on canvas.
My first independent exhibition is held in July 2021 in Belgrade, Serbia which is humani-tarian exhibition type.
