Victoria Manzanilla My name is Victoria Manzanilla, I was born in 1993 in Caracas, Venezuela. I am currently living in Bangkok, and before that in Paris and Spain for years. The many places I have lived, travelled, experienced I had, are sources of inspiration and made the artist I am today. Since young I have been interested in drawing, photography, visuals, capturing singular moments and feelings. My work is mainly known to use bright colors as contrast and harmony between them is very important to me. I draw from life, use my personal experiences and emotions are reflected in my work. I am interested in the shapes of the sea and food, so I use brushes that leave a vibrant grain, so it feels alive in a way. Since I graduate as an illustrator and 2D animator from Ecole de Communication Visuelle (ECV) in Paris and Escola de Cinema de Barcelona (ECIB), I have been working as Illustrator for some global brands, collaborated on the development of a kid series, while also developing more personal projects such as my first children’s book published in 2019, as well art and social media projects.
