Digital Artist

Bio

Judit Kallai is a Hungarian-Irish digital abstract painter currently based in Budapest, who creates art under ‘Foxodesign’. She started creating art in 2021 and although was always drawn to culture and the world of art, she has no previous professional education in art. Her art can be diverse from very abstractive pieces to more flowy images and sometimes fun experimental drawings. Her main source of inspiration comes from nature, -especially bodies of water, the discovery of new places during travel, hidden streets, moods & colors. She is inspired by the works of Andy Warhol, and Guillermo Lorca.

Statement
Art is transformative, it helps to look us inward, recognise our emotions and make sense of our own world from another artists’ perspective, often mirroring our own depth and emotions. It can take us to different times in humankind and help us reconnect with ourselves. I especially enjoy that with a white sheet of canvas there are no limitations of creative expression and it can take our imagination to places that are personal for us but also very universal at the same time. What I find the most fulfilling when I share my art with people, is their interpretation of a combination of lines and colors, that they make out of and that it speaks to them. In my own art visually I am drawn both to symmetry on the canvas as I often create square shaped pieces, but at the same time I also value imperfection.
