Bio

Katrin Klink studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste /academy of arts in Stuttgart / Germany. Collage – digital and analog, 2D and 3D – is her main medium, displayed in international exhibitions and group exhibitions.
Mixing original materials from the 1950ties with modern techniques and tools like AR display or video sequences, her work often points out to topics like the female role in our society, then and now. She compares creating collages with ‚time travelling‘, building a bridge between the past and the future.
How to get away (without murder) refers with the title to contemporary topics and shows a woman, departing into a new and freer future. The video shows the creating process and how the digital collage comes to life via Augmented Reality.
