Jacqueline Joosen I am a Dutch Australian artist living in paradise in Port Douglas, Australia. I have extensive experience creating artworks in a range of media including ceramics, jewellery and sculptures. I now concentrate my passion on creating original, mixed media paintings. The natural landscape informs and inspires my artworks, which are predominately abstract. I work intuitively and involve many layers. My subject matter (and subsequently my art) ranges from the ethereal to the mundane - a recognition that beauty and wonder can be found all around us. I enjoy creating atmospheric pieces that are meaningful to the viewer in different ways. My works are represented in Australian and International collections.
