Barbara Garaventa, graduated in Physics and PhD student in Gravitational Waves, is a
physicist and painter. She was born on the 27th of June, 1993 in Genoa, Italy.
She expresses her personality through oil painting and she mainly produces
galaxies/astrophysical themes, landscapes in which she would like to live in and animals.
Common factors in her paintings are joy, positivity and through them she tries to make the
observer dream. About her work she said: “ In art there is no limit to the imagination. You
can travel...standing still”.
In 2020 she participated in the ArteGenova fair in the Contemporary Art Talent Show
section and in 2021 she partecipated in the XIII Florence Biennale.
