I'm Claudia and I paint. I was born in the countryside and was inspired by the small towns where I have always lived. On canvas, I like to work freely and continuously deconstruct what I created. I paint, repaint, destroy and transform. My paintings are alive and scream with its colors and shapes. I started painting in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil in 1998, participating in painting and sculpture workshops. My first exhibition was “Lights for the stained glass” where I portrayed patches and fragments of light on large canvases.
I offer to the world what I see through my eyes and my humanity.
