Guillatún - 40 x 40 cm Guillatún. (5000x5000) El guillatún es una ceremonia religiosa perteneciente al pueblo mapuche-huilliche. Este rito funciona como conexión con el mundo espiritual para pedir por el bienestar, fortalecer la unión de la comunidad o agradecer los beneficios recibidos. Una traducción aproximada que se usa frecuentemente para esta ceremonia es ‘rogativa’. El pueblo mapuche, hoy en día vive hacinado y totalmente, expuesto a la violencia y la injusticia. La represión y la intolerancia, por su cultura, por el compromiso de los tratados de tierras ancestrales, las cuales, los gobiernos no respetan. El pueblo mapuche se ve sometido al racismo, y la falta de oportunidades. Han intentado reiteradas veces, expulsarlos de sus tierras, pero su fuerza aún no disminuye. Nuestras tierras, han sido usurpadas, nuestros ríos están secándose y las multinacionales, nos dejan sin árboles, el estado, castiga al indio, no solo por su apariencia, si no por su riqueza. Hoy en día, el conflicto no se detiene, día a día, entran dentro de escuelas, casas y comunidades, con violencia, con armas químicas, e impiden que el mapuche siga viviendo, quieren exterminarlos para apropiarse, de la tierra. Aunque sabemos que la tierra no es de nadie, ni si quiera nuestra, pero estamos mas que agradecidos de ella. En esta imagen retrato el Guillatún, el cual se ha ido perdiendo por esta injustificada guerra. Dentro de la imagen podemos ver un volcán, el cual es conocido como el Volcan Villarrica, aunque en la lengua nativa lo llamamos Rucapillán (casa del pillán, pillán : espirítus), porque en ella yacen los espíritus. La estrella de ocho puntas, representa a Venus (Wunelfe) símbolo Mapuche que representa al lucero del Alba, o planeta Venus, en la cual, los mapuche entregaron a ella, el símbolo de la iluminación y el nuevo despertar. Nuestra cultura se va perdiendo por la expropiación de los territorios. En esta imagen, retrato el amor hacia nuestra cultura, y el deseo de que el Estado no siga destruyendo nuestra naturaleza y no siga persiguiendo a los mapuche.
