Trude L. Birkelund Trude L Birkelund is an artist born and raised in Norway. She lives on the west coast, surrounded by beautiful mountains and fjords. All her life she has been attracted to art in many forms. As a young girl, it was singing, dancing, music and more, but also really enjoyed studying people and draw, especially portraits. This led her into the world of theater, and after she graduated from the Norwegian academy of theater, she was an actor for many years, and later worked as a teacher. However, her need to express herself through visual art was constantly present, and in 2006 she discovered the joy of expressing herself through paintings. Trude is a self thaught artist, but in 2018, she decided to start painting full time, and participated in several online painting classes. She is constantly looking for new ways of expression through different techniques. The artist finds inspiration from everything in life, from nature to human beings, fantasy and reality. The joy of painting has become her entire life, and she feel blessed everyday to be able to create art by expressing her inner soul.
