Pertti has received his MSc from the University of Jyväskylä and has studied at the Art School of Pirkkala 1996- 2000, Finland. He lives and works in Ikaalinen, Finland. Pertti’s paintings are abstract and colorful. In his works he paints traces of energy flowing every-where, sometimes the energy flows slowly, sometimes in quick torrents. Pertti’s paintings show chaos, haste, rush, different phenomena of our time, but the midst of chaos you see harmony and equilibrium. His paintings can be rough and layered. In some paintings hazy surfaces of color overlap one another. Their peaceful and poetic atmosphere shows a clear contrast to the stronger and more clear-cut paintings with more rock’n roll in them.
