Bettina Schopphoff is a painter and illustrator. Synaesthetic, she perceives colors as sensations thanks to specific neuronal connections. The starting point of all her work is color that she perceives as language and vibration enabling an infinite number of intuitive stories.

Her unclassifiable lively and joyful work describes lives in challenging and daring movements, freeing itself from obstacles. The ordinary becomes extraordinary bouncing around in a cheerful hubbub on large canvasses created to travel around the world.


Always on the go - geographically and intellectually - Bettina Schopphoff exhibited for many years at the New York Art Fair, at the Red Dot and at the Lineart. She is also one of the founders of the Jeux de Dames group in Fontainebleau.
