Space fox- 2015, acrylic on paper, 100 x 70 cm The fox is not only a significant symbol in the fable, but also in Slavic mythology, and this is one of the reasons why it is important in my personal, individual iconography. The view of foxes has pleased me all my life, and since I have always lived surrounded by mountains and forests, it is not unique. The background in the painting is created expressively, spontaneously and the choice of colors was intuitive. It represented the chaos I had at the time of my creation, and playing with colors made me feel safe by reminding me of my childhood. The shape of the fox came out of the background and it was difficult to say to what extent it was a visual resemblance to a spot with a fox, or it was created there by my own subconscious in an effort to heal the inner chaos and soothe a child in me.
