Born in Kolkata, India, I am a self-taught artist captivated with depicting emotions, feminine strength and mental health related issues through abstract forms and human faces. I draw inspiration from the strength and resilience of women around me. Art has always been a part of life in various forms, but I started sketching and painting in 2017. My preferred medium is oil paint on canvas though I am exploring other mediums as well. Painting for me is not just an outlet for my creative energy or an act of self-care. Painting helps me to be present in the moment and find myself.
