Bio

María Judith Cardin María Judith Cardin was born in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 1966. She has always been attracted to arts of all kinds, especially drawing, painting and music; activities that she developed with passion and dedication until the present time. In 1984, she began to study drawing and painting techniques at the Provincial School of Visual Arts in Santa Fe, Argentina. Later, she moved to the City of Buenos Aires, where she studied Fashion Design and began her career in the textile industry as a designer, which she continues to develop as another great passion. At the same time, she performed in-depth training in plastic arts with different Argentinean Masters, learning multiple techniques, leaning towards oil painting. Currently, she lives and paints in Buenos Aires, doing mostly oil paintings from her own mind. Her work is influenced by the 20th-century Avant-Garde movement, cubism, constructivism, suprematism, and other movements which aroused deep admiration when learned of them at a very young age. She has been able to imprint in these currents the South American´s continent vibrant colours. The same colours inspired the great Latin American artists with whom she also shares a territory, a culture, music, poetry. Everything is an inspiration for María Judith: the city, the countryside, nature, architecture, figures, geometry, lines, curves. From 2010 until now, Maria Judith Cardin has participated in multiple exhibitions on different themes, capturing on canvas her emotions and thoughts with each brushstroke.
