Franz Müller Rieser is a photographer who specializes in the Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) technique. In his work, the camera becomes an additional sensory and creative organ. In this way, he tries to create images that make visible the resonance between his experience and what is depicted. This personal view of the world is the key to reinterpreting and transforming what he sees. Using photographic means, he sometimes constructs objects and landscapes that do not exist in the external world but emerge from inner images. This results partly in impressionistic or somewhat surreal landscape photographs, but also in minimalist and abstract images that tell a story, raise questions or invite you to think.
