I am not a first-generation artist. I am the child of a graphic designer and an illustrator, whom herself was the child of a man who loved photography. We were gifted this chance at life, and are not meant to sit behind a desk growing numb. But everybody grows tired of something. Years spent sitting in a classroom trying to perfect the lines of the imperfect human. Finding disconnect in the world of manmade metal. The minimal-istic lines of abstraction on white canvases left an empty feeling inside, and something much more to be desired.
Perhaps it is time to start anew. Reach out into the auras of those around us. Pull out the colors of what makes us unique, and watch them bleed into all that we touch. Embrace the organic nature we all have growing inside. The desire to take back a world that is no longer hiding
