On November 18, 1987, Juan Cruz Matarín was born in Goya, province of Corrientes, Argentina. Knowing the artist's work is simply a "one-way passage", it is venturing into his spirit, a creative cosmos. Soulful artist, self-taught and intuitive, his beginnings can move the observer by the clarity of spiritual energy that emanates from its being with only 14 years; without mediating external influences or referents of art back then. In 2019, he sprouts in a spectral burst of pictorial creations 15 years after his first drawings. To discover the work of Juan Cruz Matarín is to immerse yourself in a fascinating and captivating world. Owner of his own original style, he is distinguished from other contemporary artists by the charm of his work, generating unexpected sensations. Its technical resources (both in medium and supports) challenge and melt the traditional use of colors and figures; both in pastel charcoal pencil and oil paintings. As in a trance, he is a “revelation artist”, he can give the observer the feelings of space and time in each stroke, and his figures impregnated with symbolisms are a portal between the visible and the invisible. Flexible and dynamic, impressive and subtle, with harmony of opposites its composition has an aesthetic achieved with innate mastery. His art work has been exhibited in the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris 2019, in Dubai with Latinamerican Pavilion 2021 (best Gallery Awarded) and in exhibitions and art galleries in Buenos Aires City. His next exhibitions in 2021 are scheduled for November in Shen Zhen and New York, USA and Dubai (April 2022).
