The entire “Celestial” series tackles subjects such as what our place in the universe, life, death and transcendence.
“Celestial Elephant” is an allegory for the soul’s departure and the journey beyond.
The myriad colours radiating from the subject are a reflection of our unique experiences and traits and how at the end of our earthly journey we dissolve back into infinity. The ever-present falling star has many meanings, it can be a good omen, a bad one or just a reminder of the fact that time is fleeting.
