My main inspiration is the astonishing wealth of Nature. Nature gives me freedom and confidence; through its variety of colours and textures, it is a place where I feel safe. The context of my work is focused on environmental issues, climate change and pollution. I also explore mental health of the individual, specifically by considering how colour and nature therapies can improve our physical and mental health. Through my paintings I would like to demonstrate that the fragility of nature is something magical, unique and worth protecting.
