Ilia Azarov My name is Ilya Azarov. I am an artist of Russian origin, currently living in California, USA. Since childhood, I have been always trying to bring my ideas and images on canvas using oil paints. Two years ago I started to work on my own style and method. I found shapes and shades that complete my subject. The characters are I inhabitants of a world that reflects the nature of human feelings and thoughts. Full range of human feelings. My task is to invite the viewer in my world to interact, think and analyze. “Onandr’s gift to Olaf in the middle of deserts, lands and water“ is the title of my work. The picture shows us the elder Onandra, giving something to young Olaf. That symbolizes experience and wisdom, but also something contradictory. Olaf accepts only part of the gift with suspiciousness. The surroundings is the final point of life where a new world is possible
