Candace studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Angers, France but, it is her explorations in the deserts of Africa and Oman, Antarctica and the Arctic that serve as her true place of learning. As an abstract painter her goal is to raise the vibration of consciousness through art. By transmuting the energy of emotions into her colour field paintings, their resonance helps shift viewers’ lives. Candace combines quantum healing energetics based in ancient indigenous knowledge and now claimed as ”modern physics” such as absolute scalar waves, gamma waves/consciousness, still point technology and the healing power of colour, crystals and the ancient Hindu ayurvedic energetic system, chakras. These modalities work in conjunction with subtle energy, a form of energy sometimes known as intuitive, psychic or quantum. Having explored and sought out remote environments for much of Candace’s life has allowed for deep inner exploration and expansion, birthing paintings created with intention and consciousness that affect body, mind and spirit. Candace is collected widely in Canada and internationally both corporately and Privately.
