Bio

Jordin David is a fine art figurative painter, muralist, and art teacher.
She was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, and currently resides in San Diego. She graduated from San Diego State University with her Bachelor of Fine Art, with an emphasis in Studio Art. In the spring of 2018, she lived in Florence, Italy, and continued her studies in art at Lorenzo de’ Medici. Since graduating from SDSU in May 2019, her work has been displayed at art shows, bars, and galleries around Southern California. She painted her first mural in 2020, and co-founded a muralist agency one year later. Now at the age of 24, she is excited and relieved to see what her future holds as a full time artist.
Jordin David’s art is not only a reflection of her inspirations, but also a personal map for navigating past trauma and understanding her present reality. Without accident, a significant theme commands attention. Her interpretation of the nude female form falls into an uncategorized style that incorporates techniques founded in realism, juxtaposed with an essence of surrealism. Her muse is the connection of women to nature and the extraordinary power that each hold. Jordin says “We only exist because of the women who birthed us, and the Earth who was here before us”.
