Description

Calm Waters in inspired by Queensland's coastline. In Australia we are very blessed to have such beautiful beaches. The contrast of deep blue and white with a touch of grey in the clouds reflects a winter's day in Queensland with bursts of blue sky among the cloudy skies. I have used acrylic paints with knife pallet to create strong strokes and a thin bristled paintbrush to create the extra detail in the ocean ripples.
