Patricia Rubano’s artwork is inspired by fleeting moments of her life that are infused with her emotions and surrounding energy. These elements are used to create her works of art that showcase a snapshot of her life. Patricia’s goal is to have the viewer connect with her piece through her experience, energy and emotions that come through the canvas. Growing up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada she was surrounded by art in her multi-cultural city. Art was everywhere from subway art, street art, city murals, musical festivals, galleries and beautiful museums. She has been fortunate to study art with some inspirational professors. Here they evoked a sense of being in the present moment and transferring that emotion onto the canvas that still inspires Patricia today. Over the years her most meaningful works have emerged out of pivotal moments in her life. The raw emotion takes over and is divinely transferred onto her canvas. Her art is an extension of who she is, how she navigates and interprets these moments of life. She is forever a work in progress and her artwork showcases her evolution as a person going through this journey.
