Nanny Kok is an Amsterdam-based artist. Her drawings, paintings and illustrations are intuitively and colourful. Although local residents, dogs, rats and science fiction are her favorite subjects, her background in fashion design (Gerrit Rietveld academie) and philosophy (University of Amsterdam) still affects the themes of her work. She prefers to work on paper with a mixture of pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor, veltpen and oil paint.
