Elise Craig is a Texas-based, self-taught fluid artist, working primarily with alcohol inks. She developed a passion for inks in 2019 during her work as an art educator. Elise has a degree in English literature, and has taught at the middle school level for 21 years, 8 of those being in the field of Art. She recently has been exploring her own personal creative expression, and is known for using vibrant color and striking gold metallics throughout her work, aspiring to evoke feelings of joy and positive, dynamic energy in the viewer. In-spired by nature, she is especially drawn to organic patterns, layers, rings, earth strata, ge-odes, the cosmos, and all things luminous with a touch of magic. She is a commissioned artist and currently divides her time among her family, teaching, caring for her pets and plants, seeking out genuine human connection, traveling whenever possible, and creat-ing in any format that she is able.
