1000 Eyes of the Peacock was painted on the reverse side of a conference table panel from an environmental advocacy museum that I created in another lifetime. Many of the photographic works were evidence of contamination of water or soil, and so I spent some time creating beautiful art out of each of them. It was symbolic as a way to make something scarred, beautiful again. This image has also become the subject of public art in Los Angeles, California where utility boxes are used to create a new and interesting canvas that is out in the streets for everyday life.
