Garilily is a Chinese multidisciplinary artist based in Japan and a graduate of Tama Art University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Design.
Her artistic practice explores themes of light, nature, memory, dreams, and human perception. Rather than working within a single medium, she enjoys experimenting with different artistic forms, allowing each idea to find its own form of expression.
Painting is currently one of the most direct ways for her to share her thoughts and observations, while her practice continues to expand into music, spatial expression, and participatory artistic experiences. Through her work, she hopes to create moments of reflection and resonance, inviting people to discover meaningful connections with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.
