2013 Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Science of Design. I create my own works while studying Japanese and Chinese classical art on my own. I believe that what exists now must be more or less influenced by something that is already there. In the case of paint-ing, such influence can be seen from specific things such as techniques and types of painting materials to formless things such as the way we see and feel things. These waves of influences are connected from the past to the present, "tide" so to speak. They may be one big school, or they may be separate streams that come together or separate from each other, and they echo each other across time and across regions. I look at things and draw pictures every day while search-ing for where I am in this vague "tide".
