This is the view from a temple at the summit of Wuliaojian. An old man lives in the temple, and in it, he sells pineapple cakes. Hikers who make it to the top almost always stop to buy one from him. They gather beneath a large tree next to the temple, resting in its shade, enjoying the pineapple cakes along with the tea they’ve brought with them—chatting with friends, sharing laughter, and letting the mountain breeze cool their tired bodies.
