Bio

I have a crush on watercolor. The technique is challenging, and I learn something new with every brushstroke. My inspiration is usually a special light, a color scale, and a mood that is combined into a whole. The feeling is fleeting but can be preserved and conveyed in a painting.
Showing my art to the world is a big step, and I do not know what comes next for me. Art has always been an integral part of my life. I work as an elementary school teacher, and one of my favorite things to do is to teach art. Previously, I only painted during the holidays and school breaks. Since the summer of 2019, I have allowed myself more time to pursue my art, and now I paint every spare moment I have. In the evenings, I often watch the pigments dry on paper in my home outside Uppsala, Sweden.
Landscapes are a common motif for me. I want to express the feeling of possibilities, freedom, and tranquility by painting open expanses where nothing prevents the gaze from moving to-wards the horizon.
