B.F.A, Studio Arts, Concordia University. I have been creating art for over 20 years in different mediums and styles, however my concentration is mostly in painting and printmaking. I have had the privilege of having one of my lithographic prints selected for the cover of a book an-thology of short stories, and currently exhibiting selected works with Gallea’s virtual exhibitions.
I have been fortunate to have always been surrounded by art in every form since I was a child. Art has therefore become the language I best express myself with. My style consists mostly of abstract expressionism with the use of acrylics, acrylic ink/pens, ink, spray paint and oil pastels on canvas as well as paper. The images I create are the result of the conversations between the marks, colors and movement made throughout the piece. These visual conversations are in-spired by the elements that surround me and the emotions that impact me, which can some-times be intense and vivid or soft and muted.
